Poland Wins The Best M!CE Destination 2019 Prize

Poland has won the prestigious The Best M!CE Destination 2019 prize, awarded by the most important industry magazine for business tourism in the Netherlands - M!CE & Business Travel.

The festive presentation took place during the Business Traveler & Mice Fair, organized by the Amsterdam editors at the Corendon hotel.

- The strong points of Poland are the modern hotel range, numerous conference and exhibition facilities, good communication infrastructure, as well as organizations and companies ready to provide professional service at business meetings of various sizes - said Robert Andrzejczyk, president of the Polish Tourism Organization (POT). - I am pleased that Poland has received this recognition in the Netherlands.

Poland has all the assets to intensively develop the meeting industry and to attract international events of the largest scale, which was appreciated by the Dutch MICE industry. - France and Northern Ireland were also nominated for this prize, but in the end the best, or Poland - won according to Andrzej Pawluszek, vice director of the Amsterdam branch of POT, who could not hide his joy.

The readers of the M!CE & Business Travel magazine awarded additional prizes. NH Hotels was named the best hotel chain and the best airline was KLM.

- One of our priorities is to improve Poland's image as an attractive country to organize large business events - according to Dominika Szulc, director of POT in the Benelux. This is confirmed by Magdalena Stoch, responsible for cooperation with the Dutch tourism industry and associated with the Amsterdam branch of POT. - Without the participation of Poland Convention Bureau in the structures of POT, this success would not have been possible - Magdalena Stoch emphasizes.

At the industry congresses and meetings, which were accompanied by the award ceremony, the participants emphasized that Poland is a safe and friendly country, and that it is organizing an increasing number of cultural, scientific and business meetings.
