EU passports enjoy automatic border control

Are you flying to a destination outside of the Schengen Area? Then you'll have to go through the border control post before you're allowed to go to your gate. If you're travelling with a valid EU passport, you'll pass this post in no time thanks to the fully automatic border control. So don't forget your EU passport if you have one!

Please note that if you are travelling with a passport of a country that doesn't belong to the EU or your Belgium ID card, or you're travelling together with somebody less than 12 years old you'll have to go through the regular, manual control.
